Guided Walks in Fiordland National Park
Fiordland Tours offer guided walks or tramps to several popular walking tracks in the Fiordland National Park.
We have half day and full day 'hikes' to suite the fitness level of our customers.
We provide for tea, coffee and lunch breaks at beautiful sheltered spots during our tramps in this wonderland "World Heritage Park"

Kepler Half Day Walk

Tour departs from Te Anau at 8-30am. We pick you up from your accommodation and take a ferry ride across Lake Te Anau to the beautiful sandy beach at "Brod bay".
We walk south along the edge of Lake Te Anau on a scenic part of the Kepler track. We have a morning tea stop at the lake edge and supply tea, coffee and home baking. We proceed towards Lake Manapouri (still on the Kepler Track) and finish at the Rainbow Reach suspension bridge. We transport you back to your accommodation in Te Anau arriving back at approximately 2-30pm.
Fiordland Tours Boat & Hike

Pick up from your accommodation at 11am and jet boat down the Waiau River to Lake Manapouri with several "Lord of the Rings" film location stops on the way.
You will view lots of brown and rainbow trout and receive an enlightening commentary about the history of the lake and river. You will be dropped off at the lake edge and guided through a beautiful part of the Kepler Track as far as the Rainbow Reach suspension bridge. Your arrival time back to Te Anau will be approximately 4-30 pm.We provide home baking as part of the lunch stop.

We proceed towards Lake Manapouri (still on the Kepler Track) and have a lunch stop at the Rainbow Reach suspension bridge. This is where most people finish the full Kepler Track. We then proceed to Lake Manapouri and get picked up on the shores of the beautiful lake.
We take a 35minute jet boat ride back to "Queens Reach" with "Luxmore Jet" (www.luxmorejet.co.nz ). For the first part of the journey on the boat you will enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Lake Manapouri. Here the snow capped mountains and breath taking scenery will 'amaze'. While travelling up the Waiau River you will get a chance to see rainbow and brown trout in crystal clear water and have Lord of the Rings film locations shown during the trip. Whilst this jet boat ride may only have a pinch of adrenalin it could be argued the most scenic jet boat ride in the world. On completion of the boat ride you will be transported back to your accommodation in Te Anau arriving at approximately 5-30pm.
